You need a certain amount of obsessive compulsive behavior to write a blog. Or maybe it’s the other way around — if you write a blog, you are obsessive compulsive.
I think I fall into the later category.
Today, I really fell down that famous rabbit hole. I’m still on the hunt to understand the relationship between well-being/happiness and residential interior design. And still can’t find much of anything.
Today my search took me from Rudolf Steiner of Waldorf School fame, to Winston Churchill (“We shape our buildings and our buildings shape us”), to organic architecture, to evolve design, to Camphill Communities, to Anne Sussman, Esther Sternberg and the Institute of Place and Wellbeing and STILL nothing.
But I’ve looked at some incredible architecture on the way. So far, I still can’t seem to pull it all together. I’m determined to make sense of all this, but not quite yet. I’ll leave you (for now) with some of that incredible architecture.
