I just fell in love with the architecture of Jim Olson.
OMG! Take a look.
Of course, my photos do not do this work justice, but it gives you an idea of how amazing this architecture is.
The last photo is from my archives and is a home in Mexico by my other favorite architect, Luis Barragan. I’m not sure if Barragan was an influence on Olson, but I see definite similarities in their work.
Olson’s office is in Seattle, although his work is not confined to the Northwest. His architecture is closely tied to nature and to me, at least, also evokes that of my favorite artists, The Group of Seven.
Love it when it all comes together!
